Wolves' Nenad Milijas hailed by team-mate Kevin Foley

Wolves defender Kevin Foley says that midfielder Nenad Milijas is starting to show his best form for the club.

Milijas, who has started just 14 Premier League games since moving to Molineux in June 2009, scored in Saturday's win over Manchester City.

Foley told BBC WM: "It's not always easy coming from another country and adapting because the Premier League is probably the quickest in the world.

"I'm sure we'll see more good things from him in the next few months."

Milijas, 27, had been limited to two Carling Cup appearances this season before starting in the 2-0 defeat at Chelsea on 23 October.

The Serbia international kept his place for the visit of City and cancelled out Emmanuel Adebayor's penalty before David Edwards's second-half winner.

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy also praised Milijas, telling BBC WM: "No one comes here and turns up and expects to play, they have to earn it.

"I've had lads come up through the Championship with me like Edwards, Ward, Elokobi, Berra, Stearman, Henry, I can keep going because we've had loads of them.

"They play because they've earned the right to play and anyone else who comes here has to earn the right. He [Milijas] has done and he's been terrific in the last two games."

Despite their win against City, Wolves remain in the Premier League relegation zone and travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United next Saturday.
