Wolves boss Mick McCarthy will have cash - Steve Morgan
Morgan celebrated Wolves' return to the Premier League in May
Wolves chairman and owner Steve Morgan says manager Mick McCarthy will get the money he needs as he looks to strengthen his squad in January.
Wolves have been linked with Hull winger Stephen Hunt and Morgan told BBC WM: "Mick has whatever funds he wants.
"But it's not as easy as picking players off a shelf.
"The January window is more awkward than the summer and we've got a couple of bids out but other clubs are keen to hang onto their best players."
Wolves, who are 15th in the Premier League and a point above the relegation zone, are yet to make any signings in January but have reportedly made a £3m bid for Hunt.
We're doing okay. It's a learning curve for everyone at the club and we've got an important few games coming up

"We've targeted a couple of players we'd like to bring in and we're talking," Morgan said.
And he is adamant that the Black Country club will not overstretch itself despite the pressure to stay in the top flight.
"We have a wage budget and we set out to run this football club in a business-like manner but with ambition and it's important to stick to that," he said.
"We want sustainability not short-term gain for long-term pain."
With Wolves facing Wigan on Saturday Morgan knows the picture at the bottom of the table could change very quickly over the next few weeks.
"The league's a tight one this year and any team that has a few wins or a few defeats will be right at the top or bottom of that group.
"We're doing okay. It's a learning curve for everyone and we've got an important few games coming up."
