Matt Murray has only just returned after more than a year out with injury
Wolves are prepared to let goalkeeper Matt Murray go out on loan to help him in his recovery from his latest injury.
Murray, 27, has missed more than a year with a cruciate ligament problem but is now nearing full fitness.
"If we can get Matt fit, then we'll loan him out," boss Mick McCarthy told the club website.
"I've spoken to Matt about it and the thought was if he could get a couple of 90 minutes under his belt, then we'd get him a month's football somewhere."
McCarthy is keen to get Murray fully match fit so he can challenge Wayne Hennessey and current first choice Carl Ikeme for the number one position at Molineux.
And he does not think it will be difficult getting a club for Murray, who made a brief return to the Wolves bench last month when then number one Hennessey was suspended.
"I'm sure Matt would be welcome anywhere," said McCarthy. "I've had discussions with him and he wanted a couple of games first and then we'd let him go out on loan."
