West Brom will prepare for their return to the Premier League by spending a week in the Netherlands during July.

The Baggies will be based near Eindhoven and the trip will culminate with a friendly against the 12th placed team in the Eredivisie, VVV Venlo.

"I visited five or six set-ups across Europe and this one offered the best facilities," said Albion's sporting and technical director Dan Ashworth.

"Venlo will be just the testing opposition the players will need."

Head coach Roberto di Matteo had requested that only one game be arranged during the trip so he can concentrate on preparing for the step-up from the Championship.
