Bednar has scored 21 league goals in 56 appearances for Albion
West Brom forward Roman Bednar has thanked the club and their supporters for backing him on his return from a three-month ban for possessing drugs.
The 26-year-old made his comeback on Saturday, scoring both goals in the 2-2 draw with Sheffield United.
"I can't explain my feelings because of the way they acted towards me. It's unbelievable," Bednar told BBC WM.
"You can see I'm really happy to be back on the pitch. It's incredible, I really don't have the words."
The former Hearts striker was suspended by West Brom in May after newspaper photographs appeared to show him buying drugs near his home in Sutton Coldfield.
He was subsequently cautioned by West Midlands Police for the possession of small amounts of Class A and Class B drugs and will now be the subject of Football Association target drug testing for the next two years.
"I don't want to speak about it too much any more, I want to focus on my future," Bednar added.
"All I wanted was a second chance and the club and the supporters gave that to me.
"I know what I did, and it wasn't up to me if I'd still be here - people stuck with me and it was really important."

Bednar has impressed new West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo so much that fellow striker Craig Beattie was sold to Swansea before the transfer deadline.
And the Czech striker said he was delighted to repay the faith that Di Matteo has shown in him.
"It's very special when you think about what happened over the last couple of months," said Bednar.
"It went through my mind when I scored that I didn't deserve it."
