Serie A club Chievo have stepped in as West Brom's new opponents for their only home friendly ahead of the new season on Saturday, 1 August.
The Italians replace French outfit AS Nancy who have withdrawn from their planned trip to The Hawthorns because of travel complications.
"It will be interesting to see how we fare against an Italian side," said new Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo.
"Chievo will be a good technical side, it's going to be a big challenge."
Tickets bought to see the Nancy game remain valid for the fixture against a Chievo side that finished 16th in Serie A last season.
