Olsson's third goal of the season set the Baggies on course for victory
West Brom defender Jonas Olsson says he owed the club the goal he scored in Saturday's 3-0 win over Sunderland.
The Swedish centre-back was desperate to erase memories of the previous week's defeat at Manchester City.
"It was a little bit to redeem myself after the last game when I conceded an easy penalty against City," the 26-year-old told BBC WM.
"We lost there, so it was nice for me to put one in the net. It's the best feeling in football to score."
The Baggies' victory has given them fresh hope of making an improbable push for survival, although they may have to win all of their remaining games.
"I looked at the table and we're six points behind with four games. That's still 12 points to play for," said Olsson.
"We're going to do everything to make it happen."
West Brom travel to Tottenham on Saturday, then they have home games against Liverpool and Wigan and a trip to Blackburn on the final weekend of the season.
