Lack of cash no problem for Mowbray
Struggling West Brom have completed the signing of striker Marc-Antoine Fortune from French club Nancy.
The 27-year-old joins on loan until the end of the season, but the Baggies have an exclusive option to buy the player when his loan period expires.
Fortune will go straight into the West Brom squad to play Middlesbrough on Saturday, after his international clearance can through in time.
Fortune joined Nancy in 2007 and scored six goals for them last season.
The French Guiana-born forward helped them to finish fourth and qualify for the Uefa Cup in the process.
Fortune began his career with a four-year stint at French side Angouleme and has also enjoyed spells with Lille, Rouen (on loan), Brest and Utrecht.
He joins Arsenal loanee Jay Simpson at The Hawthorns as Baggies boss Tony Mowbray continues to reinforce his squad in the January transfer window.
