Cech is growing increasingly frustrated by a lack of chances at the Hawthorns
West Brom boss Tony Mowbray is prepared to let Slovakian left-back Marek Cech leave in the January transfer window.
Cech, who arrived from Porto for 1.4m last summer, criticised Mowbray to a Slovakian news agency after being left out of Saturday's derby at Aston Villa.
The 25-year-old has made just eight appearances this season, including a mere two starts in the Premier League.
Mowbray told BBC WM: "If he wants to go, and it's right for us, I'll try to do a deal that allows him to do that."
Cech has played 29 times for his country and Mowbray continued: "I feel for Marek Cech to be fair. He came here to play, and he hasn't played.
"He's an international footballer in his country. He's a big player and a big name.
"But he hasn't been able to displace Paul Robinson, because Robinson has been Mr Steady this year for us.
"So I've got an element of sympathy for Marek. He played two games recently when Paul was suspended and did exceptionally well, as I would expect him to.
"I've got no problem really with unhappy players - they only want to play."
Meanwhile, Mowbray has likened the return to fitness of midfielder Filipe Teixeira after a 10-month injury lay-off as like having a new signing at his disposal.
The Portuguese player suffered cruciate ligament damage against Plymouth in March and injury niggles have delayed his comeback.
But Teixeira made his first start of the season in the FA Cup third round replay win at Peterborough on Tuesday and could start against Middlesbrough this weekend.
Mowbray siad: "Filipe will be like a new signing once he is back on the pitch on a regular basis.
"He's a talented individual and we've missed his threat.
"Let's hope he can now get up and running in the Premier League and be a threat for us every week. I hope there is more to come and we need creativity."
