Striker Marvin Sordell has been rewarded for his impressive form with a new contract at Watford.
The 19-year-old has scored four times in his last four games and has agreed a deal to keep him at Vicarage Road until the summer of 2013.
Boss Malky Mackay told the club's website: "I'm delighted Marvin and his family think Watford is the best place for his development.
"He's a credit to himself for the way he's developed his own game."
The Hornets academy product signed his first professional contract in April last year, but was restricted to just six appearances last season.
