Midfielder David Davis believes Walsall assistant manager Martin O'Connor has helped him develop into a better player during his loan spell from Wolves.
Former Walsall captain O'Connor made almost 150 appearances in his two spells as a Saddlers player.
Davis told BBC WM: "I knew about him when I was younger and we play the same position so he's been a lot of help."
The 19-year-old, who has started six games for Walsall, will stay at the Bescot Stadium until 13 November.
Chris Hutchings' side climbed off the bottom of League One with last Saturday's 2-1 victory over Exeter City.
And Davis believes that the squad will head to Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday full of confidence.
"It was a bit of a psychological blow to the lads when we were bottom of the table," he said.
"But now we're out of the relegation zone. That's a real boost for us.
"The hard part is winning the second game. We won the first and the pressure is off a little bit, but we need to go on and win the second, the third and maybe the fourth."
