Walsall's Richard Taundry out injured for four weeks
Taundry had started all six games for Walsall this season before his injury
Walsall will be without midfielder Richard Taundry for up to a month because of a knee problem.
The 21-year-old was injured in the 2-1 defeat by Chesterfield in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy last week.
Manager Chris Hutchings told BBC WM: "He's had a scan and it's having to settle down. He's off crutches now but it's still very, very sore.
"He's walking about, there's a bit of pain but these things take time and we have to make sure he gets it right."
Taundry, who came through the youth system at the Bescot Stadium, recently passed 100 appearances for the Saddlers.
Walsall fell to a third successive defeat on Saturday, losing 1-0 at home to Colchester in League One.
The performance of teenage midfielder Jamie Paterson, who was making his first start for the club, was one positive for Hutchings to draw from the game.
"He's a very silky player and I was very pleased with his contribution," added the former Bradford and Wigan boss. "We think there's some potential there for him to move into the first team on a regular basis."
