Luke Moore to be released from West Brom on loan

Roberto Di Matteo has revealed that Luke Moore will be allowed to join another club on loan after leaving him out of his 25-man Premier League squad.

The former Aston Villa striker is now unable to play for the Baggies in the league until January, forcing him to look elsewhere for first-team football.

"Towards the end of last season, he wasn't involved as much. I had to make a decision," the West Brom boss said.

"Obviously he wasn't full of joy about it," Di Matteo added.

"The fact he can't play for us until January means it would be better for him if he went out on loan and plays football, rather than just training.

"We've had some enquiries - but nothing concrete."

Moore joined West Brom from Aston Villa for £3m, which could rise to £3.5m based on appearances, in 2008 and has scored five goals in 33 appearances for the Baggies.
