Bradley has his eye on the Welsh international set-up
Walsall midfielder Mark Bradley is aiming for a long run in the first team after being used as a substitute at the start of the season.
The 21-year-old made his second start of the campaign for the Saddlers in Saturday's draw against Swindon.
"Obviously it's really frustrating when you're not getting on the pitch and getting minutes under your belt," he told BBC WM.
"Hopefully now I can keep the shirt that I've got and push on."
The Welsh under-21 international has made 70 league appearances for Walsall, scoring five goals, but has largely been consigned to the bench under new boss Chris Hutchings.
He was reasonably pleased with his return to the fray against Swindon.
"In the first half we played very well as a team and I think I was part of that," said Bradley.
"The midfield was closing down well and winning the ball which is good for the team.
"The game should've been gone at half-time with the chances we had."
Bradley is likely to retain his place for the weekend trip to Hartlepool with fellow midfielders Peter Till and Richard Taundry injured.
