Walsall have signed experienced left-back Jamie Vincent on a one-year deal after a trial with the League One club.
Vincent, 34, played 13 times for the Saddlers in the 2003-04 season during a loan spell under Colin Lee.
The defender, who was released by Swindon during the summer, was signed by Portsmouth from Huddersfield for £800,000 in 2001.
Walsall manager Chris Hutchings told the club website: "He is exactly the type of player that we need."
He continued: "We now have competition for places in the left-back position and his arrival can only help Netan Sansara's development.
"I am delighted that we have been able to secure his services following an impressive pre-season with us."
Vincent came through the ranks at Crystal Palace before joining Bournemouth.
He has also played for Derby, Millwall and Yeovil.
