Clayton Ince had never experienced anything quite like the win at Withdean
Walsall goalkeeper Clayton Ince feels the weekend win at Brighton was a one in a career experience.
The Saddlers defied the odds to beat the South Coast club 1-0 despite being reduced to nine men in the first half.
"It's a very new experience and we were happy to show that the team are really a team," Ince told BBC WM.
"The young ones stepped up to the plate, like Anthony Gerrard, Alex Nicholls and Troy Deeney. They really stepped up their game."
The Saddlers have decided not to appeal the red cards shown to Rhys Weston and Netan Sansara, meaning that both face three-match suspensions. But Ince feels there will be a lasting benefit from the spirit shown at the Withdean Stadium.
"With nine men we had to keep calm and use experience to have a settled mind and not to dive into tackles again," he said. "To defend for 66 minutes, it's unbelievable.
"I don't think you could ever get it in the league again."
