AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown releases twelve player
AFC Wimbledon manager Terry Brown has announced he is releasing 12 players from the club.
Jay Conroy, Derek Duncan, Elliott Godfrey, Will Hendry and Alan Inns will all leave the club.
Ben Judge, Paul Lorraine, Ross Montague, Glenn Poole, James Pullen, Peter Rapson and Lewis Taylor will also not be offered new contracts.
Brown said: "They're all talented players who I am sure will display their abilities at other clubs."
He added: "With the desire to continue with a young squad, I have had to make the difficult decision on who to release.
"This is a part of my job that I don't enjoy."
Brown continued: "I would like to place on record my thanks to the players who are leaving us for the contribution they have made to the club."
Meanwhile Peterborough's Danny Blanchett and Shrewsbury's Nathan Elder have completed their loan periods with the Dons and will now return to their parent clubs.
