Tranmere defender Ash Taylor says he is progressing well from the knee injury he picked up during pre-season.
The versatile 19-year-old, who is not due back in the Rovers squad until December, is about to begin the rehabilitation process
"I'm coming off my crutches on Saturday and I'm having my brace taken off," Taylor told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"Everything's going well with my knee, Hopefully I can work with the physio and get on with my rehab."
He added: "It's knocked me back a little bit but you've got to remain strong and think of the future and work hard.
"I'm not the best watcher to be honest and I'm frustrated but I can't rush into things."
