Tranmere have signed loan midfielder Joss Labadie on a permanent deal after he was released by West Brom.
The 19-year-old spent the last month of the season at Prenton Park and after scoring three goals in nine games, has earned a two-year contract.
Rovers manager Les Parry told the club website: "Joss really impressed us during his time on loan.
"To be able to bring in a young player of this calibre shows the club's commitment to improving the squad."
He added: "He fits in really well to the way we want to play and I'm pleased he has decided to come back permanently.
"Joss is just the first of many new faces we want to bring to Tranmere this summer."
Labadie had previously enjoyed successful loan spells at Cheltenham Town and Shrewsbury, where he scored five times in 14 appearances for the Shrews.
