Tranmere midfielder John Welsh believes they need three wins from six games to avoid relegation to League Two.
Rovers are in the bottom four on 41 points and face relegation rivals Wycombe on Tuesday.
"Les [Parry, manager] has told us of the importance of the next two games," Welsh told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"There is a pressure of what will happen if we don't get to 50 points. Everyone know's what to do and I'm sure it will come good for us in the end."
The former Liverpool midfielder says the Rovers fans have a big part to play on Tuesday.

"They will be massive, I though they were brilliant against Walsall," said Welsh. "They were willing us on from start to finish.
"We'll see if we can get a packed house at Prenton Park and hopefully the lads will get them three points."
