Reina signed a new six-year contract at Anfield last week
Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina says they have not given up on finishing fourth in the Premier League.
The Reds drew 0-0 with Fulham on Sunday to slip six points behind fourth-placed Manchester City.
Reina, 27, told BBC Radio Merseyside: "We knew we couldn't make any more mistakes and we've dropped two points.
"Now it is even more difficult to get fourth place. But we have to fight till the end and try an win as many points as possible."
Liverpool's mixed form has seen them pick up 15 points from their last 10 games in the Premier League.
Meanwhile Aston Villa, who are two points behind Rafa Benitez's men have two games in hand and Tottenham, who are two points ahead, have a one-game advantage.
Reina, who signed a new six-year deal at Anfield last week added: "We have to keep working if it's difficult or not. We knew we couldn't drop anymore points and we did against Fulham.
"Full credit to Fulham because they were well organised on the pitch and they were defending really well. We didn't create as many chances like in other games.
