Tranmere Rovers manager Ronnie Moore has praised his side's character following their 1-0 win against Brighton at Prenton Park on Saturday.
Rovers captain Antony Kay struck the injury-time winner to keep his side within touching distance of the League One play-off places.
"[It was] perseverance - they kept going. I know the quality wasn't good," Moore told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"It's about time and I've said to them it's about guts and determination."
Rovers were booed off at half-time and Moore was disappointed with the crowd's negative reaction so early in the game.

"There were one or two in the crowd getting a bit uptight and a bit angry but it's about 90 minutes," he said.
"I think it's hard when they're booed off at half-time."
