Anderton's Spurs claim
Darren Anderton
Anderton has been at Spurs since 1992
Tottenham midfielder Darren Anderton has hailed the current squad at the club as the most complete during his time at White Hart Lane.

Anderton joined Spurs in June 1992 and has played under Peter Shreeves, Ossie Ardiles, Gerry Francis, Christian Gross and George Graham.

He has also seen Jurgen Klinsmann and David Ginola come and go from the London outfit.

But he believes present Tottenham boss Glenn Hoddle has done the best job of bringing the most talent to the club.

"This is the biggest and best squad we've had in my time," said Anderton.

"Competition for places is fierce, we're more resilient and with a bit of luck we can gel properly and start to win things."
