Rebrov demands transfer
Sergei Rebrov
Rebrov has had a frustrating time at Spurs
Tottenham striker Sergei Rebrov has submitted a transfer request - and insists he will do anything to quit White Hart Lane.

Spurs' record 11m signing is desperate to leave the club after failing to secure a regular first-team place under boss Glenn Hoddle.

Despite putting a cut-price 3m price tag on Rebrov, the London club have not received any offers for the striker who has said he would like to rejoin Dynamo Kiev.

"I will do everything possible to quit Spurs," said Rebrov.

"I have talked to the Spurs management and have told them I want to leave.

"The club did not seem to be against it and nor do I think they want much for me.

"I have always liked Dynamo Kiev and my soul is still with them."

The 27-year-old has three years left on his Tottenham deal and has been linked with moves to Bayer Leverkusen and Lazio.

Hoddle is keen to offload Rebrov to cut his wage bill and raise funds to finance a bid for his number one target, Sunderland striker Kevin Phillips.
