Torquay United have announced that they are going to cut Plainmoor's capacity by 250 for safety reasons.
The Babbacombe End of the blue stand will lose 120 seats, with the rest being removed from the yellow end.
The club have assured season ticket holders that their seats will be unaffected by the changes.
Torquay have recently applied for planning permission to build a brand new grandstand to replace the old one which dates back to the 1920s.
