Torquay United boss Paul Buckle eyes up transfer window
Buckle's side currently lie five points clear of the relegation spots in League Two
Torquay United boss Paul Buckle says he has already lined up possible targets for the January transfer window, after spending a day scouting in London.
Buckle said he cast his eye over potential recruits following the postponement of the Gulls' fixture with Crewe last Saturday.
"I spent the day at Tottenham last weekend, having a look at some of their players," Buckle told BBC Radio Devon.
"I had a very good day there, so we'll look forward to the window."
He added: "When the window opens it'll give us a chance to go for a few targets that we've been looking at."
Buckle's time at Tottenham was spent with their youth team coach and former Exeter City boss, Alex Inglethorpe.
The Torquay manager also said that Gulls' fans should expect movement both ways at Plainmoor during January.
"We've got players as well that we've had some interest in, so it's normally a busy time."
