Buckle's Torquay currently lie fifth in the Blue Square Premier
Torquay manager Paul Buckle has said he fears for the integrity of the Blue Square Premier if Weymouth fail to be competitive for the rest of the season.
Financial troubles have seen many players leave Weymouth, with a side made up mostly of youngsters losing 9-0 to Rushden last weekend.
Buckle told BBC Radio Devon: "There could be an unfair advantage to the teams that haven't played them twice.
"We hope people can see sense and protect us a little bit."
A near full-strength Weymouth side defeated Torquay 2-0 earlier this month.
"It was a different team that played at Rushden to what turned up the other week against us," said Buckle.
