Crisis-hit Weymouth, forced to field a youth team, suffered a crushing defeat.
Rushden were 3-0 up in 18 minutes as Michael Rankine slotted home and Lee Tomlin scored a quickfire double.
Chris Hope headed in the fourth before half-time before Rankine got his second from six yards and Robert Wolleaston's 25-yard strike made it 6-0.
Marcus Kelly scored twice with two long-range strikes before Kurt Robinson's effort finished off the rout two minutes from time.
Weymouth's players have not been paid in 2009 and have been allowed to leave the club if they receive offers of work.
The club has debts of around 300,000.
The club has issued a million shares, worth fifty pence each, in an effort to raise funds, but if that strategy is unsuccessful the Terras could face administration or liquidation.
