Torquay defender Steve Woods has said his side felt they could have beaten Coventry City in Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round clash at Plainmoor.
The Gulls dominated much of the second half, with Woods guilty of missing with a header before Coventry snatched a 1-0 win with three minutes to go.
"We feel we should have won really and that's with all due respect to Coventry," Woods told BBC Radio Devon.
"We had good chances to win but unfortunately we didn't take them."
Woods added: "We hung on in there for periods during the first half but in the second half we got on the front foot and dominated.
"Against a team like Coventry they only need one chance and they can punish you, which is how it turned out."
