Danny Wilson hopeful for new signings for Swindon Town

Swindon Town manager Danny Wilson says he is hopeful of bringing new faces to the club after the weekend.

Wilson, who this week extended the contract of 21-year-old defender Callum Kennedy until June 2012, is hoping to act with his club 18th in League One.

He told BBC Wiltshire: "I'd like to think after the weekend something may be afoot.

"We've got a list as long as our arm, but being able to bring them in is another matter."

Wilson's side, who host fellow strugglers Yeovil on Saturday, are five points clear of the relegation zone, but have played more games than the teams around them.

"I think what we've stood for over the period of time and the type of player we've brought in suggested we are good for some people to come here or loan us their players," added Wilson.

"The most difficult part is availability. If players are not available one week, the week after they may be. It changes on a daily basis."
