Frampton has made 111 appearances for Millwall since joining in June 2007
Swindon Town have signed Millwall defender Andy Frampton on a one-month loan deal.
The 31-year-old has failed to make an appearance for Millwall this season but has spent time on loan with Leyton Orient, playing once for the O's.
Frampton told BBC Wiltshire: "I'm at an age where I need to be playing and this is a good club to come and play for.
"I want to improve myself and if I can get into a position where the deal can be extended then I'll be very happy."
The former Crystal Palace trainee joined Millwall from Brentford in June 2007 and was named as the supporters' player of the year for 2008/09.
However in January of this year he picked up a calf injury and was limited to just two more appearances during the rest of the season, one of which came as a substitute in the Lions' 1-0 League One play-off final victory over Swindon at Wembley in May.
"The players who came in for me when I got injured did their jobs and I wasn't able to get back in," said Frampton.
"I've had no falling out with anyone, it was just the luck of the draw in that season."
