Sean Morrison has said Swindon Town will be seen as one of the biggest teams in League One when the new season gets under way.
The 19-year-old defender said: "We're odds on to do well so teams will more cautious of us and more determined.
"We'll be like a Norwich or a Millwall last year whereas the previous year we almost got relegated."
Morrison made ten appearances for Swindon last season, spending time on loan at Southend.
But since the departure of former club captain Greer, the teenage centre-back is hoping to feature more regularly.
"Gordon will be missed massively at the back," said Morrison.
"But it's nice for me to try and mature a bit and hopefully I can step into his shoes and become a better player for it."
