Swindon Town have released teenage winger Lloyd Macklin after he failed to make an impression on the first team.
Macklin, 18, made 15 senior appearances in the league after coming through the youth ranks at the County Ground.
"Opportunities for him became increasingly limited as last season progressed," chairman Andrew Fitton told the club website.
"As the squad is developing we feel that he may not play regularly in the coming season."
He added: "We think it is in Lloyd's best interest that he is free to find a new club."
Macklin became Swindon's youngest ever player after coming off the bench against Brentford in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in 2007.
He last played for Swindon in the 1-1 draw with Charlton in February before a loan spell at Torquay.
