Swindon boss Maurice Malpas has told BBC Radio Swindon that he is starting to build his squad for next season.
Teenagers Ben Joyce and Sean Morrison are among those he would like to see tested in first-team action.
"There's one or two kids I'd like to see playing in the first team before the end of the season," said Malpas.
"That doesn't mean that we're going to take the last five games lightly. The team that finishes the league strong, starts the league strong."
Malpas feels the time has come to wield the axe on those who have been deemed surplus to requirements at the County Ground.
"For the last two or three weeks we've been seriously looking at next season," he said.
"We've got to sit down with the players who are out of contract.
"I'll probably do that in the next two weeks, who's going to get retained and who we're going to let go."
