Swindon striker Christian Roberts has thanked former boss Iffy Onuora after winning the League Two player of the month award for August. Roberts, 26, was treated for an alcohol problem at the Sporting Chance clinic in January this year.
The Welshman admitted: "I'd like to thank Iffy for standing by me, when others might have chosen to rid themselves of the problem."
Roberts has scored twice in Swindon's six-match winning streak this season.
