Stephen Dobbie has looked sharp in attack for Swansea in pre-season
Swansea City had mixed fortunes in their mini tournament against Spanish sides Gimnastic de Tarragona and Centre d'Esports Sabadell on Monday night.
For the two 45-minute matches Swansea manager Paulo Sousa named two almost completely different sides, with only Shaun MacDonald playing in both.
Gimnastic held Swansea 0-0 and then went on to win a penalty shoot-out 5-4.
But a Stephen Dobbie brace earned a 2-1 win against hosts Sabadell and ensured Swansea ended their Spain trip on high.
Tercera Division side Sabadell had taken an early lead through a deflected Roberto shot.
But Swansea hit back within four minutes as Fede Bessone's 40-yard pass released Casey Thomas, who in turn set up Dobbie to score off the inside of a post.
The Scottish striker soon added his second with a fine half-volley, having again been teed-up by youngster Thomas.
In the first game against Gimnastic, Gorka Pintado and Chad Bond looked lively in attack for the Swans, although the Welsh side were unable to find a breakthrough.
The Spaniards ended the game with 10 men after full-back Carles Domingo Pladevall was dismissed following two poor challenges on Nathan Dyer.
The sending-off did not hamper the Spanish Segunda Division side in the shoot-out, although it took a brilliant save from Xabi Pascual to prevent Pintado claiming a win for the Swans, before Joe Allen shot wide in sudden-death.
