De Vries set for Swansea return

Goalkeeper Dorus de Vries is likely to return to the Swansea side for Tuesday night's Championship trip to Coventry.

The Dutchman is still recovering from a fractured cheekbone but will wear a protective mask as fellow stopper Dimi Konstantopoulos cannot play.

The 29-year-old is ruled out due to the terms of his loan agreement from parent club Coventry.

But midfielder Ferrie Bodde will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his cruciate ligament last Friday.

Fellow midfielder Leon Britton is a major doubt after being substituted in the 72nd minute against the Blues with a back injury.

But Tom Butler could return to Swansea boss Roberto Martinez's first-team line-up following his recovery from a hamstring problem.

Midfield pair Andrea Orlandi (thigh) and Joe Allen (ankle) will miss out, while defender Marcos Painter remains a long-term absentee with a knee injury.

De Vries has been sidelined since 21 October, when he suffered a hairline jaw and depressed cheekbone fractures following a challenge from Queens Park Rangers captain Martin Rowlands.
