Lawrence has scored 14 times for Stoke this season |
Stoke's Liam Lawrence says he will not take the aggression out of his game despite picking up his 10th booking of the season in the game against Burnley. The midfielder will now be suspended for the trip to promotion rivals Watford and the visit of Blackpool.
"I said something I shouldn't have done but that's the way I am," the 26-year-old told BBC Radio Stoke.
"I like to get to stuck in and give 100%, if you take that away then you take a big part of my game away."
Lawrence stepped up to convert a last minute penalty to cancel out Kyle Lafferty's opener and salvage a point for Stoke, who have now gone three league games without a win.
 | Hopefully after two defeats and a draw we have left the bad results behind us |
The Potters remain in the Championship's automatic promotion spots but are just one point ahead of Watford who have a game in hand and two points ahead of West Brom who have played two games less.
"We have to get something out of every one of the last nine games, I don't think we can afford another defeat.
"Hopefully after two defeats and a draw we have left the bad results behind us," added Lawrence.
