Stockport have signed striker Anthony Elding, midfielder Stephen Husband, winger Ishmel Demontagnac and defender Matthew Grieve on loan.
Rochdale's Elding, 28, played for Stockport between 2007 and 2008 and joins until the end of the season.
Blackpool duo Husband, 30, and Demontagnac, 22, and Newcastle's 20-year-old Grieve have all signed month-long deals.
All four players could make their debuts against Gillingham on Saturday.
Stockport dismissed manager Paul Simpson on Tuesday, appointing assistant Peter Ward as caretaker manager and promising "four or five new arrivals" in January.
