Stevenage have strengthened their attacking options with the loan signing of Aldershot striker Junior Mendes until the end of the season.
The much-travelled 32-year-old has made 17 appearances for the Shots, scoring four times in a year at the Rec.
Stevenage manager Graham Westley told BBC Three Counties Radio: "I need cover and Junior gives us the ability to cover in wide area's, or up top."
"He is a talented boy, and very lively," Westley added.
Mendes goes into the squad for Saturday's game with Blue Square Premier play-off rivals Oxford.
The London-born striker has twice represented Montserrat the 2004 Concacaf Gold Cup qualifying games.
He has also played at a number of Football League clubs including Huddersfield, Northampton and Notts County and has played for St Mirren in Scotland twice.
