Steve Bull has endured a tough start to his managerial career
Stafford boss Steve Bull has told his players they must start performing if they are to have a future at the club.
Rangers lost 2-0 to Torquay on Saturday and lie 14 points from safety in the Blue Square Premier table.
"Everybody's not safe. I want to ship eight or nine players out and it's up to them to prove they're good enough," Bull told BBC Radio Stoke.
"I've told the whole squad to stay fit because the games are coming thick and fast and I'll give everybody a chance."
The Wolverhampton legend has been busy in the transfer market during his short spell in charge.
He has signed two strikers in Liam Hughes and Nick Wellecombe who joined from Wolves on loan and Newcastle Town respectively.
Wellecombe made his debut in the 2-0 defeat to Torquay on Saturday, and Bull was pleased with his contribution.
"He played well. We've just got to get him paired up with the right man, and if we can give him the right deliveries in the box, he'll do a good job for us.
"They all did well. I've told the players that if they keep that up, they'll get the good luck they deserve."
