St Mirren manager Danny Lennon has raided former club Cowdenbeath for a fourth time, signing a left-back who only made his first-team there once.
The 19-year-old Peter Bradley, who has signed a one-year contract, had been attracting the interest of Celtic despite his lack of senior experience.
Bradley, a Northern Ireland youth international, joined Cowden from Glenavon in 2008.
He had loan spells last term at juniors Kirkcaldy YM and Ballingry Rovers.
Lennon has already signed central defender Darren McGregor and forward Paul McQuade from the club he led to their second promotion in a row.
And he also brought assistant Iain Jenkins with him from Central Park to St Mirren Park.
Bradley, who made his Cowden debut against Brechin City in August, is being viewed as a long-term prospect.
However, he will be cover for a position the Buddies found difficult to fill last season.
David Barron, who prefers to play right-back, and midfielder Steven Robb both deputised in that position.
