Southend United's stand-in striker Bilel Mohsni says he is happy to play in any position.
The 23-year-old Tunisian, whose usual position is centre-back, has scored three goals in the Blues' last two games against Bury and Macclesfield.
The 6ft 3in player told BBC Essex; "I'm a defender, but because I'm good in the air and tall, I can work as a striker."
In total, Mohsni has found the net four times in his 13 league starts since signing for Southend in the summer.
Blues manager Paul Sturrock has been delighted with his makeshift frontman.
"He's that kind of exciting, talented player that he can play in most positions," he said.
"You can see how versatile he is as a player. I was really pleased for him."
Mohsni is no stranger to the striking role.
"I've played everywhere in my career, I just love playing. I play everywhere on the pitch wherever the gaffer wants me," he said.
The former Sainte Genevieve Sports player joked he is happy to play anywhere in Saturday's match at Barnet.
"If the gaffer wants, I play striker. If the gaffer wants, I play centre back. If he wants me to play keeper, I play keeper," he said.
