Southend United manager Steve Tilson has opened contract talks with three members of last season's squad.
Franck Moussa, Scott Spencer and Damian Scannell have all been offered new deals to remain at Roots Hall.
"We've been speaking with Franck and his agent for a while and we are in discussions with Damian and Scott's agents," Tilson told the club website.
Southend have already secured the services of defender Johnny Herd for next season.
