McCormack has one year left on his current contract at Southend

Southend midfielder Alan McCormack admits he does not know if he will be at the club next season.

The 26-year-old, who scored the winner in last weekend's victory over Stockport, said his future at the relegated club is still to be decided.

"I've spent four great seasons here and if I get a fifth with success then I'm happy to do it," he told BBC Essex.

"It's up to the chairman but every player wants to play at the highest level possible and I'm no different."
