Southend United midfielder Jean-Francois Christophe has been banned for four matches following his red card in Friday's 2-1 defeat by Charlton.
It was the Frenchman's second dismissal of the season following his sending-off against Swindon Town in August.
He will miss the games with Hartlepool, Exeter, Carlisle and Walsall as the Blues bid to stave off relegation.
The 22-year-old was sent off on Friday after an off-the-ball altercation with former Southend player Nicky Bailey.
