Swindon maintained their promising league form with a narrow win against 10-man Southend at the County Ground.
Scott Cuthbert neatly converted a Jon-Paul McGovern cross to put the hosts ahead midway through the first half.
The visitors' misery was compounded when Jean-Francois Christophe received a second booking for diving soon after.
Swindon added a second late on when sub Temitope Obadeyi rifled home and although Damien Scannell pulled one back moments later, it was not enough.
Swindon manager Danny Wilson told BBC Wiltshire:
"We were scrappy in the second half, the tempo wasn't there.
"We warned ourselves about that before we went out that it could possibly happen, that you think the job is done, they're down to 10 men, and maybe your work ethic comes down just a notch.
"We're just delighted to come away with three points at the end."
Southend manager Steve Tilson:
"I don't know how we have come away without a point, to be honest.
"I thought the lads were fantastic in the second half - they stuck together, worked hard and created some good chances.
"I thought we should have had a penalty in the second half and their second goal was a free-kick on the edge of the area."
