Southend United are set to extend the loan of defender Sean Morrison from fellow League One side Swindon Town.
The two clubs have agreed a one-month extension to the 18-year-old's current deal and hope to complete the paperwork before this weekend's matches.
Morrison has made four appearances at Roots Hall since arriving in November.
"He will get better the more he plays and it's important we keep him," Southend boss Steve Tilson told the club's website.
