Morrison has not played for Swindon since September's 1-1 draw at Walsall
Southend United have signed teenage centre-back Sean Morrison on a month's loan from League One rivals Swindon.
The 18-year-old has signed in time to make his debut in Saturday's match at Yeovil Town.
Morrison has made six appearances for the Robins this season but has seen his chances limited by the form of Scott Cuthbert and Gordon Greer.
"When the chance to go out on loan came up I thought it would be a good option for me," he told Southend's website.
"Southend are a decent side and are doing well in League One and I think I would have regretted the decision not to come here and get more experience."
Morrison joined Swindon from Plymouth in 2007 and has made a total of 31 appearances for the Robins, scoring twice.
