Southend United are set to appeal against midfielder Franck Moussa's red card against Brighton.

Blues boss Steve Tilson disagreed with the Belgian's dismissal which followed a challenge on Albion's Adam Virgo on Friday night.

He told BBC Essex: "Franck went for the ball and he got the ball - it's not a good decision.

"We will appeal, but very rarely do you win your appeals - so we'll have to see what the outcome is."
